Dolly Parton Focus Of New TV Series
Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Webster & Associates) Dolly Parton: Song By Song, a new series being broadcast on the Ovation channel, launches with "I Will Always Love You" and "9 to 5" on March 10, followed by "Coat of Many Colors" and "Jolene" on March 17 and continuing with "Travelin' Thru" and "It's All Wrong But It's All Right" on March 24. Ovation can be seen on Channel 172 on Comcast, Channel 274 on DirecTV or Channel 291 on the Dish satellite network.

Song By Song will consist of six episodes, focusing on such iconic hits as "Coat of Many Colors," "I Will Always Love You," "Jolene," "It's All Wrong But It's All Right" and the Oscar nominated "9 to 5" and "Travelin' Thru."

"I admire Dolly so much as both a music talent and a business person, and working alongside of her and her team made me respect even more," says Song By Song producer Barb Hall. "Also, the eagerness of people to participate far exceeded our expectations. She is truly a beloved and revered figure."

The programs feature not only exclusive interviews with Parton, but also such stars as Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Kenny Rogers, Miranda Lambert, Lily Tomlin, Miley Cyrus, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Janis Ian, Mac Davis and Kristin Chenoweth.

Dolly Parton: Song By Song was produced with Nashville-based personnel. Barb Hall is the series producer/director. Robert K. Oermann is the writer and the series was edited at Rock Creative Images by Eddie Hales and Brian Humphreys.
