New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Exeter-based rock newcomers WITTERQUICK are pleased to announce they have signed to LAB Records and will be releasing their debut EP Beneath The Spinning Lights on 17th June, available to preorder on iTunes now.

The artwork for the record - which you can see below - features Canadian model and Youtube star Samantha Ravndahl who has an enormous online following thanks to her beauty, travel and lifestyle vlogs.

Commenting on the signing, LAB Records say: "We're delighted to welcome Witterquick to our label - we've all been big fans of the band since prior to their support run with Nothing But Thieves and can't wait for people to hear the EP."

Already well on the road to establishing their new blood status following their popular self-release of debut single Soldiers, they rounded out last year on a sold out UK tour with fellow rockers Nothing But Thieves.

The track is the first single taken from their debut EP Beneath the Spinning Lights (Romesh Dodangoda Bring Me The Horizon, Twin Atlantic, Lower Than Atlantis), is out now as a FREE download, with appearances at Camden Rocks and Anchored To The Sound Festival already lined up for summer.

We want something real. We want something that means something says front man Will Alford about the bands aims, A lot of music today is lacking thatthing, that little spark, that pulls us into the music we love. We want every song we write to be our favourite song, and so far were nailing it.

Following the release of their well-received debut The Otherside in 2015 they recorded their debut 5-track EP with world renowned producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Twin Atlantic, Lower Than Atlantis) at his studio in Cardiff. Bass player Ollie says that working with Romesh was a huge step for them, and they didnt take it lightly, We got a call back from Romesh saying that hed love to work with us, that was one of the first moments when we thought okthis is getting serious.

With support already rolling in from Kate Lawler at Kerrang! Radio and BBC Introducing in Devon, the band have already set about cementing themselves as ones to watch in 2016, with further details of the EP to be revealed over the coming months.

Beneath The Spinning Lights is released 17th June via LAB Records
