For the first time, it gives Barbie a hip, updated sound, while introducing girls to the brand's timeless charm.

"Barbie & The Diamond Castle" CD features a dozen catchy numbers, including songs from the soon-to-be-released DVD movie of the same name, as well as additional Barbie hits from other Barbie movie favorites. Katharine McPhee makes a special guest appearance with an exclusive performance of "Connected."
Together, the songs on the CD set to music the story of Liana (Barbie) and her friend Alexa (Teresa), in a suspenseful fairy tale with a modern musical twist. Kids will love joining in on "Two Voices, One Song," "I Need to Know" and "We're Gonna Find It," as they learn about the true meaning of friendship. And two special renditions -- acoustic and pop -- of "Believe" will have girls belting their hearts out.
Prior to the release of the CD and DVD, families can tune in for a sneak peek of "Barbie & The Diamond Castle," airing on Nickelodeon, Sunday, September 7. A complete line of toys and licensed products is available now.
