LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Favored Nations Films) - CRAZY, a feature film inspired by the tragic life and extraordinary music of legendary guitarist Hank Garland, makes its festival debut as an official selection at the 14th Annual Sedona International Film Festival and Workshop in Sedona, Arizona. The Festival runs February 27-March 2, and CRAZY will be screened at 4:45PM on Sunday, March 2 at Harkins No 2 in the Harkins Sedona Six Theatres complex (2081 W. Hway. 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336).

Directed by Rick Bieber, CRAZY stars Waylon Payne - acclaimed for his role as Jerry Lee Lewis in Walk The Line - as '50S-era guitar virtuoso Hank Garland. Ali Larter (Legally Blonde, Varsity Blues, American Outlaws, etc), a regular on the hit series Heroes, co-stars as his beautiful, tempestuous and unstable wife Evelyn Garland. Ray Scherr and famed guitarist Steve Vai (who also performs a cameo as Hank Williams) are Executive Producers under the Favored Nations Films mantle.

CRAZY - co-written by Rick Bieber, Jason Ehlers and Brent Boyd - chronicles Garland's meteoric success in the 1950s Nashville music scene, beginning with his Grand Ol' Opry debut at age 15. Hank's prodigious talents and gift at segueing between country, rock and jazz led him to become the most in-demand session guitarist in town, playing on classic recordings for icons including Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline and Roy Orbison - all of whom are characters in CRAZY, along with other legendary artists.

The film also covers Garland's short but influential solo career, during which he proved to be a visionary jazz artist. In his personal life, however, Hank couldn't see past the emotional chaos of his marriage to Evelyn. His flame-out was as spectacular as his rise - a near-fatal car accident and mental breakdown in 1961 derailed his life and career.

Though no longer performing, Hank Garland lived for over four more decades, passing away in December, 2004. He was actively involved during the development phase for CRAZY, lending the film much of its forceful impact and authenticity.
