New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ CineMedia Promotions) Sony Music is proud to announce the release of the original motion picture soundtrack for The Inbetweeners Movie. Starring Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Jow Thomas, it will be released in theaters on November 25, 2011. The soundtrack will be available digitally on November 21, 2011 and the CD will be released on November 29.

From the team behind the record breaking and award winning TV show comes The Inbetweeners Movie which shows what happens when four lads go on holiday to Malia with no parents, no teachers, no money and little chance with the ladies. It is written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, directed by Ben Palmer and produced by Christopher Young. The film will be the only outing for 'The Inbetweeners' for the foreseeable future.

The Inbetweeners, Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas, are joined by the show's regulars including Emily Head as Carli, Belinda Stewart-Wilson as Will's Mum and Greg Davies as Mr Gilbert. The film introduces Lydia Rose Bewley, Laura Haddock, Jessica Knappett and Tamla Kari.

The soundtrack is produced by the award winning duo, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, who also created the TV show. The OST includes ten brand new tracks recorded especially for the film from Mike Skinner (The Streets) as well as "Feels So Close" from Calvin Harris, Ke$ha, Miles Kane and Yolanda Be Cool.

Damon Beesley and Iain Morris have both worked on the likes of the acclaimed 'The Flight of the Conchords' and have extensively collaborated with Jimmy Carr. BAFTA nominated Ben Palmer directs. His credits include 'The Inbetweeners', 'Star Stories', he has also co-written and directed the majority of Leigh Francis' projects such as 'Bo' Selecta!', 'A Bear's Tail' and 'Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour'. The film is produced by BAFTA nominated Chris Young who has produced the TV series and such films as the award winning Festival, Gregory's Two Girls and The Final Curtain starring Peter O'Toole.

The film is produced by Bwark Productions and Young Films.

Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, screenwriters, comment: "We hope the fans will appreciate the film which, we think, completes the story of Will, Simon, Neil and Jay."
