The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® is kicking off the 35th anniversary of The Largest
Music Festival in Motorcycling™ in 2016 by announcing
Kid Rock will perform on the
Wolfman Jack Stage Sunday, Aug. 7.
Kid Rock is one of the most requested performers in Buffalo Chip history, has been nominated for five Grammys and has sold 25 million albums in the US alone. His unique combination of rock, country and hip hop heard in hit singles such as "
All Summer Long" and "
Picture" have made him a solid Chip favorite.

Kid Rock's electrifying 2013 performance at the Chip continued through a hellacious rain storm and raucous lightening. In response to hundreds of fan's requests, the Buffalo Chip sought and confirmed Rock would perform.

Kid Rock is the first of many world-class performers the Buffalo Chip will announce for its 2016 event. The venue is preparing to celebrate its 35th anniversary by dazzling fans with nine nights of top-name entertainers. The annual concert series, known as the "Best Party Anywhere," will begin on Friday, Aug. 5 and run through Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016. The campground will open for camping on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016.
