NEW YORK (Miguel Banuelos/ V2 Records) - V2 Records announces the hiring of Scott Hueston as the new Head of Sales and the addition of Lindsey Pearl to the marketing department.

In her new role at V2, Lindsey states, "As touring becomes an increasingly integral part of sustaining and building an artist's career, I look forward to finding new and exciting opportunities for V2's stellar roster.
I firmly believe that V2's team will elevate label tour marketing to new heights and am overjoyed and honored to be a part of it.' Scott Hueston, who was previously Head of Sales at Astralwerks says "I'm thrilled to be making a move to an outstanding label with incredible artists, great records, and, most importantly, immense potential. I'm also excited to have the opportunity to work with Andy Gershon, since he has a wealth of knowledge, a genuine passion for music, and a desire to be aggressive and creative with all areas of artist development. I can't wait to get started."

Ramping up for an exciting 2006, V2's A&R staff is dedicated to keeping quality music alive with the recent signings of North Carolina's Roman Candle via Hollywood Records and The Mooney Suzuki via Columbia Records. Additionally, Jon Sidel, who runs West Coast A&R, is currently hard at work on the debut release of Los Angeles' Gosling. While Scott Graves of the East Coast A&R division is working tirelessly with San Francisco's dance rockers Every Move A Picture.

In early 2006, coming to record stores, mass merchants, chain stores, and digital sites (at .99 cents a track) will be the new Ray Davies, Gang of Four, Elbow, and Grandaddy albums.
Closing out 2005, V2 Records will be releasing the audio companion to Penn Jillette's and Paul Provenza's movie, 'The Aristocrats.'
We have gone to great lengths to make sure that this will be the filthiest, most disgusting, offensive and obnoxious album ever released. And, we are damn sure that we are the right people for the job.
