NEW YORK (Sotheby announcement) - Some of the prized possessions of country singer Johnny Cash, including guitars and photographs, will be auctioned at Sotheby's on his first anniversary next week.

According to the Sotheby's (NY), records, clothes, cancelled cheques, furniture, sculptures, notebooks, hand-written lyrics, Cash's black 2002 Ford pickup truck and a 1970s photograph of Cash and his wife June will be auctioned over three days in New York.
Lots from the estate of the "Man in Black" singer go on sale from September 14.

A pair of his knee-high black alligator boots, is expected to fetch up to 1,700 pounds, while a maple-and-rosewood "fiddle guitar" dating back to the 1930s, could fetch between 5,600 and 11,200 pounds.
