8th Annual WOA International Music Festival And Tour Ends On A High Note In Goa
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) W.O.A International - 18th Feb 2016 - It's been a fantastic journey for the WOA Records India Tour and International Music Festival, which just completed its 8th annual music festival and tour in association with Vh1 India. Through the years the festival and tour has featured breakthrough independent artists from almost every continent and is the only festival to give every genre of music an equal platform on huge concert stages and high profile venues across Goa and India. This year was no different with 5 major concerts including 2 festivals as part of the tour schedule across Goa, India.

The headliners Oliver Sean (Goa/UK) and Emyna (USA) and the other fantastic International and Local performers at the festival this year had fans from around the world screaming and dancing to their music at every gig. The media coverage was unprecedented to say the least with the artists, headliners and other performers of the tour being covered by major newspapers for every gig of the 8th Annual WOA International Music Festival. This year also saw fans getting backstage access to meet the artists after gigs, including special meets and greets at the official resort and hospitality partner locations, where the artists were accommodated like stars this year - Azzure Resort (by Spree Hotels) and Pinto Rosario Square. Some of the artists were even seen doing impromptu jams with local musicians at the resorts during the off days of the tour.

Vh1 India, partners of the WOA International Music Festival for the past 8 years, gave the tour the biggest support till date this year with television spots throughout the tour, news tickers, gig diary listings, Vh1 social media support to literally millions of fans and even had special rotation of WOA Records artist music videos for the duration of the tour. "These guys (Vh1) really are the biggest supporters of local and Independent music," says Oliver Sean, Headliner at the Festival and founder of the WOA Entertainment Group, "and ever year that we organise this festival, we see more and more mainstream media and venues joining us to support this one of a kind tour and festival dedicated to hard working, true to their art, Indie Musicians"

As the tour winds down and the artists make their way to their countries thousands of miles away from Goa, the fantastic WOA International team is already getting set to organise the 9th Annual WOA International Music Festival and India Tour 2017. Several artists are already on the line up for the festival including possible appearances by breakthrough jazz duo Stacey & Alan from New York City, upcoming Texan/French pop star Victoria Celestine, American singer songwriter Conway Seavey from Alaska, Rimi Basu (USA) and next year we are also expecting to see the return of 2015 headining stars Nagmah the Costa Rican rockers, Laura Ainsworh the Jazz star from the USA and the Oliver Sean Band with their original UK band line up coming down to headline alongside the Indian line up of the Oliver Sean Band, together on stage for the first time. The full line up of artists for next year will be listed on the Official WOA Records website shortly www.woarecords.com
