New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Shueh-li Ong (pronounced Shelley) presents her 3rd show in Nashville, with guitarist Eric Struthers (Neville Bros, Michael McDonald,
Carlos Santana), as her guest for a special evening of music.
Best known internationally for her work as founder and leader of synthpop band, Xenovibes, Shueh-li's brand of east meets west is an amalgamation of her classical/electronic music training, and her ethnicity.
This Aussie-born Singapore recording artist's music, showcases her distinctive use of the ethereal theremin, exotic synth hooks, rustic tin-whistle, and rich vocal harmonies.
Shueh-li was dubbed Nashville's resident theremin queen by the SCENE magazine, who also voted her 2012 & 2014 shows their Critics' Pick.
After the success of last year's show, Shueh-li made a promise to her fans and friends to put on another. She hopes to make "Shueh-li Presents", a concert specially produced for her fans and friends in Nashville, an annual event!
"It is abundantly clear that Ong has many talents, a gift for sound, and the potential for greatness." ~ The Daily Vault.
"(Shueh-li) fuses folk, jazz, avant-garde influences with electronics into a sound that is all her own." ~ Synth
