NEW YORK (www.dannymcmaster.com) - Comedian
Danny McMaster has released a new single that will get everyone talking very soon.
Why? The subject matter, of course. And that is? Death.
Something that affects each and every one of us. But, it's nothing morbid or drear. In fact, quite the opposite.
"Still
Gonna Die" pokes fun at all our attempts to 'improve' our bodies, going
along with the new-age concept of reaching for perfectionhowever many
times we fail. Keep on making cosmetic changes and we're bound to get
it right sooner or later not!
Danny McMaster is an all round
entertainer and it's kind of a mystery why he hasn't released more
songs considering he has such great versatility. You may remember him
from Channel 9's "Australia's Funniest Home Video Show" where he sadly
is not utilized any more. The sagging ratings and haphazard appearance
of the once popular show is testament to the input he once gave to it.
Here he is giving us a few more laughs with this Shel Silverstein song.
His natural singing voice is very listenable even though he can
impersonate anyone from Willie
Nelson to
Garth Brooks and all realms of
the music, television and film industry, as anyone who has seen his
'live' shows can attest.
"Still Gonna Die" is a toe-tapper and
has an instant sing-along chorus which makes it extremely radio
friendly. The song is about a subject that affects all of
useventually, with a humorous spin.
Danny says, "The recent
death of my father actually inspired me and had me considering: life
should be lived to a certain quality rather than worrying about the
end, putting more emphasis on 'living'."
"You better have some fun before you say bye-bye, because you're still gonna, still gonna, still gonna die!"
