(Launch) - Singer-songwriter Ben Harper and his partner, actress Laura Dern, are expecting a child. The couple has been together for about six months. Harper, 32, is divorced. This will be the first child for Dern, who is 34. The baby is due in the fall. Dern gained notoriety in the first "Jurassic Park" movie and she has a cameo in "Jurassic Park III." Harper is currently on a European tour, which wraps up July 25 in Rimini, Italy. His latest release, "Live From Mars," has been certified platinum in Australia.
