Indie Soul And Experimental Artist Cayey Cicada Releases A New Single: Numb
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The emerging bilingual indie pop and experimental artist Cayey Cicada, premiered his newest single "Numb", a track driven by synths, melodic lyrics and a beat that distinguishes the musician's trademark mixture of electronic and Latin soul. The new single is out now in all digital platforms.

"Numb" was inspired by not being inspired; a paradoxical song that is about wanting to live without what gives you passion. A track about pushing through and continuing to move forward. Throughout the track, Cayey Cicada brings in funk rhythm guitars to help the groove and ease the message while symbolically using the brass melodies to describe the notion of opening a door to an unnamed victory - towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

With "Numb" and his previous single called "Vuelo", Cayey Cicada showcases his voice in both languages, and continues to experiment with his melancholic beats and unique entrancing sounds that are molding what will be his new EP that will be released this Winter. Additionally, earlier this month Cayey Cicada performed at the Gabrielino Tongva Springs Foundation in Los Angeles, CA, honoring the thousands of lives lost after Hurricane Maria. More shows to be announced soon.
