Fort Worth, TX (Top40 Charts/ Jerrod Medulla official website) Jerrod Medulla's new album, SPEAK EASY, was inspired by his Sicilian family roots, and the 1920's era.
"My grandfather from Sicily always dressed in these real classy suits," said Jerrod, "I thought I needed to be styling like him. I started reading about the speak easy clubs of the 1920's and began to get some really creative ideas for the vibe of my album, live shows and menswear looks. I'm now determined to be the sharpest dressed man on the
Texas Music scene," laughs Medulla from the little town of Tuscola, TX.
SPEAK EASY has a sensual and mysterious sound that fans will find intriguing. Critics are taking notice of the Jerrod's unique new sound. The album was produced by Chuck Allen Floyd, who has won Billboard's World Songwriting competition in the Country division two times in a row and Matt Nolen whose credits include playing in John Fogerty's band and staff writer at Ole Music.
The album was just released on iTunes. The first single, "Stay The Night," is currently number 18 on the
