Lulise Drops Sexy, Strong And Powerful New Single "Read My Hips"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Lulise evokes a sense of confidence, sexiness, and class with her new song, "Read My Hips." A wistful guitar introduces her hypnotizing vocals and hooks the listener immediately. "Read My Hips" is a song created to elicit feelings that can only be expressed through body language. Lulise's radiant voice maneuvers the instrumentation with perfection as the drums and gentle piano provide the framework for the sultry track. The song is now available to download and stream across digital music platforms worldwide.

"Read My Hips" is the collaborative effort of Lulise and producer, Pretty Sister (Superfruit, Betty Who). Pretty Sister's signature funk and R&B sound is evident in the sleek pop single and pairs perfectly with Lulise's compelling and delicate vocals. "The song was originally inspired by Shawn Mendes' 'Where Were You In The Morning,'" mentions Lulise. "Something about that song just got me moving and made my blood boil--it fired me up and got me inspired--so immediately I wanted to write a song that made me feel like this song did."

Following her departure from the pop duo, Honey and Jude, where she honed her songwriting skills, writing catchy hooks and strengthening her vocal ability, Lulise has set off on a journey to share her intimate thoughts, feelings and emotions. She draws her vocal inspiration from artists such as Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande for technique, Bonnie Raitt and Adele in terms of soulfulness and in the context of songwriting, she follows in the footsteps of Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder and James Ingram. "I love that this song highlights the kind of music I have always loved. I like to describe it as a reminder of 90's Mariah, with a 2019 twist!" exclaims Lulise.

Lulise's new single "Read My Hips" is now available to download and stream across digital music platforms. Keep up with all things Lulise by visiting Lulise.com.
