New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Virgin Records) - Nadine Coyle is set to launch her solo career after teaming up with Robbie Williams' songwriting partner Guy Chambers. The singer will release single 'Insatiable' on November 1st, with an album of the same name following a week later. Nadine will become the second Girls Aloud member to go it alone since the all-conquering group went on hiatus, following the chart success of X Factor judge Cheryl Cole. "It had to be right,' said Nadine. "It had to be my sound and my songs. Insatiable feels like that." The single 'Insatiable' was co-written by Nadine with Chambers, while the likes of William Orbit and Toby Gad also worked on the album. 'Insatiable' will only be available from Tesco, following a tie-up between Nadine and the supermarket. Nadine commented: "So much has changed in the way artists work now. I think we have learned that the traditional model for selling an album isn't the only way of doing things. "To be able to create an album where you are in complete control of your own work is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an artist."
