New Blues CD Release by Summer and the Sinners

WHITE ROCK, Canada (VOODOOHEAD PRODUCTIONS) - With their second release entitled "Boogie with the Devil", Big-voiced Summer and her band, the Sinners, from Victoria, British Columbia, pound out a brand of blues that takes us back to the beginnings of listening to the blues and R&B from way back in the Sixties and early Seventies. Summer and her band have recaptured the essence of how Blues should be played, but with a twist all their own and give it on this great second release. BIG MAMA SUMMER, certainly knows how to lay down the BLUES with her unique power packed style of singing. Seasoned guitarist and veteran bluesman Buddy Love, lends some solid rhythm support throughout the album. There is superb percussion by producer Paul Nixon, tasty keyboard stylings by Brendan Hedley and some sassy saxophone by Paul Wainwright as well. Dave Vidal delivers some killer guitar and with Guest Dave Gogo offering up some fine support on a couple of tracks, this album is sure to be spinning for some time to come.
