Oblivious Signal Releases "Crash" Online Causing A Surge In Popularity And Global Ranking
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On NYE 2013 female fronted hard rock band Oblivious Signal released "Crash". The self recorded single stands out as the band's best work and potentially their breakout song, immediately shooting to #1 on reverbnation's metal charts in Florida and #73 nationally. Their global ranking continues to surge across the board, just days after the initial release as the song gains traction worldwide.

The result of any sudden death leaves the survivors haunted by what they could have or should have done differently. "Crash" captures that haunted quality in music, with hard hitting beauty. Chill evoking, with Feliciano's classical voice over heavy guitars, it stands with the great songs of loss in hard rock and metal over the last decades.

Having recorded with several producers, including well known studios, frontwoman Cristina T Feliciano finally stepped onto the other side of the board for her own band.

Oblivious Signal released two new singles, "Retribution" and "Again" earlier in 2013, self recorded and produced in the band's private studio. With the experience of years of producing other artists, it made sense for Oblivious Signal to begin using Feliciano's Jdyx Productions to record, yet it was still a big decision to make.

Though a long way from the metal screams on their demo, Oblivious Signal still turned to self production partly to have the reigns on keeping the music as heavy as they wanted. Often feeling cornered into a more pop sound than they were after, doing it all in house gave them to control while experience aided in maintaining production value.

Never to shy away from difficult subject matter, their last music video "Inflicted's Shame" was based on a true story of trying to get your life back after being the victim of a stalker. Likewise, "Crash" is also a story of personal grief.

As Feliciano recently told Guitarist International in an interview, " Crash" is about a close friend in my past who was under the influence and drove off from a party and was tragically killed. It was one of those moments in my life that was just so surreal and has greatly impacted me as a human being to make a difference and touch on such a serious topic that does not get as much attention as it should. The song is being scheduled to release on New Years with the music video shortly after. We hope the song will be received positively as an eye opener."

On January 18th they can be seen at Villa 221 in Miami, before heading to NAMM in LA on the 23 of January, both to represent sponsors Heil Microphones and NADY Systems, and to network and meet with industry professionals.

Immediately after NAMM they will be playing shows in Oakland Park, Satellite Beach and Daytona Fl.
