Rae Sremmurd, Diplo, Young Dolph, And Big K.R.I.T. All Confirmed To Perform At The Sremmfest December 23, 2016
SANTA MONICA, CA. (Top40 Charts) Ear Drummer Records/Interscope Records artists Rae Sremmurd (brothers Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee) have announced details surrounding the second annual SremmFest - a music festival to be held in the duo's hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi, on December 23rd at the BancorpSouth Arena. Rae Sremmurd will perform along with Diplo, Young Dolph, and Big K.R.I.T. Tickets will be available for purchase next Tuesday, October 18, at sremmfest.com

The festival aims to celebrate Rae Sremmurd's extraordinary success, and also serves as a way for the guys to thank the community for their support by giving them an event to remember. On the festival the guys said:

We're going 10 times harder than last year. We're doing more giveaways and we've got surprise guests coming through. You don't wanna miss it. #SremmLife - Swae Lee

This is the best thing ever. We're gonna show you why we have the key to the 'Sip. - Slim Jxmmi

Rae Sremmurd are riding high on the critical and commercial success of their second album SremmLife 2. Of the album, Rolling Stone said: "whether on earthquaking trap stompers or more traditionally melodic Rae Sremmurd songs, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi's indelible appeal remains in their elastic voices," while Pitchfork called it "stranger, artsier, and flat-out ballsier than its predecessor." The album includes the single Gucci Man featured "Black Beatles," the video for which currently stands at over 9 million views and which the pair recently performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The album is the follow-up to Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi's platinum-selling debut SremmLife, which bowed atop Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop Albums and Rap albums chart, while cracking the Top 5 on the Top 200 Albums chart its first week. SremmLife scored the duo five platinum-selling singles, including the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced "No Flex Zone," and "No Type," which is co-produced by Swae Lee. The album was executive produced by Mike WiLL Made-It (Rihanna, Beyoncé, 2 Chainz,) who is also a producer on SremmLife 2.
