LAS VEGAS (Harry Winston PR) - World-class jeweler Harry Winston today opened its doors in the new extension of the celebrated Forum Shops at Caesars. To celebrate the grand opening, recording artist JEWEL cut the $150,000 all-diamond ribbon, featuring more than 250 fancy color and white brilliant diamonds, bezel set in 18k gold. Accompanying Jewel was 6-month-old Blaise Winston, grandson of the late Harry Winston.
"With the opening of our newest store in Las Vegas, where many of the great brands of the world are located, Harry Winston will add another set of jewels to the Harry Winston constellation of Salons," said Ronald Winston, father of Blaise and chairman of the company founded by his late father in 1932.

"I want the public to know more about precious gems," said the late Harry Winston. "With so much expensive junk jewelry around these days, people forget that a good diamond, ruby, or emerald, however small, is a possession to be prized for generations." Early in his career, the man nicknamed "the King of Diamonds" devised a way to expose the general public to the priceless beauty of fine jewels, while benefiting worthy charitable efforts at the same time.

Today, Harry Winston Inc. is one of the world's most prestigious diamond jewelers and is one of a handful of American luxury goods brands. The Harry Winston brand name is synonymous with the most famous gemstones and jewelry designs in the world, including the Hope Diamond, the Jonker Diamond, the Taylor-Burton Diamond, the Star of Sierra Leone, and the Star of Independence.
The one-thousand-plus square-foot Las Vegas salon will be the first U.S. location to open in 15 years. Harry Winston currently operates a Manhattan flagship store and a Beverly Hills salon that notably serves Hollywood's A-list contingent of celebrities. Winston operates eight salons worldwide, including Paris, Geneva, Osaka, Tokyo, and Taipei.
