Doughty encountered the Hippies through his booking agent, who happened to catch the group's video for "Rose" on YouTube. Impressed with the video and the buzz surrounding the band, whose 2013 release Griffons At The Gates Of
Heaven was greeted with much critical acclaim, it was decided that the Hippies would make a fine opening act for Doughty. Dates are as follows:
