NEPTUNE, NJ (Mike Dalton Band Official Website) - The Mike Dalton Band and Bret Michaels, Poison, shared the stage at the Headliner on July 17th, a hot and steamy evening didn't stop the fans from coming out. At 7:30 pm doors opened to the Headliner - the fans that packed the venue were just outrageous and no how, no way was anything stopping them. Bret Michaels, of Poison, is on tour this year to promote his newest release, We're Country So We Can, and his special guest was none other than The Mike Dalton Band, www.mikedalton.com.

Fans went wild when Jimmy Druiett, drummer of the Mike Dalton Band, gave the queue by raising and hitting the sticks. Lead vocalist, Mike Dalton took the stage. The sound and style of their rock-n-roll music drove the fans wild. Mike Dalton composes and writes the music for most of the tracks. But when you are surrounded by outstanding musicians such as Jimmy Druiett, Drummer, Eddie Carson, guitar, Nick Massaro, bass player, and accompanist percussion player Jeff Rataski, a masterpiece is born.

There's no doubt that their performance showed they are talented through and through with one original track after another. Their recent release CD, GLIDER, has made its debut not only at venues, but now has taken to the radio airwaves over the past few months. One of the most popular and requested tracks is Stairs of Love, which recently aired on Q104.3 FM Out of the Box with host Jonathan Clarke.

These musicians have been compared to the heavy hitters such as the Boss, Dave Matthews, and yes the Beatles. The final number was a tribute to the Beatles and bringing back a little nostalgias. Though not yet in the mainstream, they're not far off. The Mike Dalton Band is a local south Jersey band that is receiving recognition not just along the Jersey Shore, but throughout the Tri-State area. Perhaps those fans know a little bit more than most of us.

The Mike Dalton Band will soon be a name heard more within the music industry. Already, many talents have taken notice of these 4 fellows, so why are you waiting? Pick up a copy of GLIDER now at www.mikedalton.com, or contact Pat, 908-896-0559 for more info. Guaranteed you'll come back for more of the Mike Dalton Band.
