Visit The Barbershop, Lower Your Blood Pressure! Two Atlanta Rappers Tackle The Issue Of Men's Health In New Music Video Mr. Barberman
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Atlanta Rapper King Jai releases his new music video "Mr. Barberman." The record was produced by Grammy-Winning Producer 30 Roc of Mike Will Made It EarDrummers Entertainment. King Jai and featured Rapper King Elway (both licensed barbers) were inspired to shoot this music video after reading studies about how black barbershops can help lower men's blood pressure. Watch the music video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBJIPPWVNWA . The video was shot on location at Groomzmen barbershop in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta, GA.

Entertainment writer and author Alex Clermont, who reviewed the music video for Outliers Music Group stated:
"Putting the culture front and center, (the video) opens with the classic image of a woman taking her little boy to get a haircut at the neighborhood barbershop. 'This is a new barber, but don't be scared. If you read your book to him out loud, he's gonna give you $3.' One of the standout messages comes from the image of a doctor checking the heartbeat and blood pressure of customers as they wait to get a shape up. It's a call out to the national discussion around introducing doctors into black barbershops to combat the high risk of hypertension in the community. A study found that black men who visited a barbershop with a blood pressure program had improved results six months later. Filmed in the eclectic Little Five Points area of Atlanta, this video has a story to tell about what a neighborhood barbershop could look like."
The video ends as Mr. Barberman gives the little boy the $3 and the kid's smile says it all.
