New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After dropping his single "Change The World" in December, Adam Davenport has released a video to accompany the new single and further add to the meaning of his rendition of the Eric Clapton classic, originally recorded by Wynona Judd.

Davenport hopes to deliver a message that celebrates diversity with the video which situates a diverse range of people expressing themselves through dance together. The tribal makeup painted on the actors are an ode to the roots of EDM culture. Davenport also samples a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the beginning of the track: "Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars." Taken from King's "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech delivered the day before his assassination, Davenport re-appropriated the line as King was similarly calling for unity in that speech. "In the video we're transported to a space where everyone is connected through one rhythm and their own individual exploration of dance," said Davenport. "White, black, Latinx. Middle Eastern.... the music brings them to one space where they can all be free to express themselves."

The single since being released has accumulated wide-spread success having being placed on Shazam's Best New Music list alongside new releases from Don Diablo, Marshmello, ZAYN, Ice Cube and R3HAB, rotation on iHeart Radio Brazil and SYN FM in Australia and surpassing 100,000 streams on Soundcloud. This comes as no surprise as the Billboard-charting artist continues to deliver his heart and soul to his growing fan base and is quickly becoming known to be the gift that keeps on giving.
