WHEN: In Theaters Nationwide March 25
WHERE: Released in theaters nationwide

ABOUT BORN TO BE BLUE:
Ethan Hawke lights up the screen as jazz legend Chet Baker, whose tumultuous life is thrillingly reimagined with wit, verve, and style to burn. In the 1950s, Baker was one of the most famous trumpeters in the world, renowned as both a pioneer of the West Coast jazz scene and an icon of cool. By the 1960s, he was all but washed up, his career and personal life in shambles due to years of heroin addiction. In his innovative anti-biopic, director Robert Budreau zeroes in on Bakers life at a key moment in the 1960s, just as the musician attempts to stage a hard-fought comeback, spurred in part by a passionate romance with a new flame (Carmen Ejogo). Creatively blending fact with fiction and driven by Hawkes virtuoso performance, Born to Be Blue unfolds with all the stylistic brio and improvisatory genius of great jazz.

BIOGRAPHY: STEVE LONDON
Having studied composition and conducting with Canadas music elite: John Burge, Marjan Mozetich and Kristi Allik, Steve London received a certificate of specialization from the world renowned 'Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television' program at the University of Southern California. The opportunity to study in L.A. with such composers as Elmer Bernstein, Jerry Goldsmith and Christopher Young, was invaluable and integral to his development as a serious composer for film and television. He quickly went on to work as a score coordinator for Christopher Young on such films as 'Unforgettable' (MGM), 'Head Above Water' (New Line Cinema), and 'Copycat' (Warner Bros.).

Mr. London lives and works in both Los Angeles and Toronto. He has composed the score for the Oscar nominated Best Documentary (Short Subject), "Chau, Beyond the Lines". He also has written music for many feature films including 'Bank$tas' (Main Street Films), 'Shallow Ground' (Universal) and the upcoming Ethan Hawke/Chet Baker feature, 'Born to Be Blue' (IFC). Also recently, the feature documentary he scored, "Once Upon a Crime: The Borrelli-Davis Conspiracy" has won the juried award for Best Feature Documentary at the Austin Film Festival and DocUtah Film Festival.
