Gram Rabbit's Summer Olympic Return With New Music In National TV Commercial, Chloe Sevigny Series And New Release On iTunes!
Los Angeles, CA. & Joshua Tree, CA. (Top40 Charts/ It's Alive! Media) Gram Rabbit (www.gramrabbit.com), the Joshua Tree, Ca.-based band known for their groovy beats and over the top live shows are back like you've never heard them before. The band have a wealth of riches to announce beginning with the track "Desperate Heart" which is currently featured in a national television commercial that rebrands, Fruit of the Loom with a contemporary spin on and old-school brand. The commercial entitled Ribbons launched last Tuesday night as part of NBC's coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics and can be seen here: https://www.fruit.com/move-to-comforts. It is also available for downloaded for free at www.fruitoftheloom.com. Gram Rabbit's new video for the song can be seen here:

Additionally, Gram Rabbit have also secured three new song placements ("Dirty Horse" and "Devil's Playground" from their debut release and "Desperate Heart") in the new Chloe Sevigny series Hit or Miss on DirecTV, which premiered July 12.

As if that wasn't enough, on July 18, Gram Rabbit released their fifth full-length album, Welcome To The Country, a spaced-out, twangy, new digital release via iTunes from their own Royal Order label. Featuring ten new tracks, the new album is a departure of sorts for the band who have been known to fans for their electro-pop and desert soaked psych rock tunes and bacchanalian live show. Dedicated fans from the bands unofficial happy cult followers, The Royal Order of the Rabbits, are sure to hear the bands roots in the their namesake in Country pioneer Gram Parsons.

Tracks on Welcome To The Country include: "Wild Imagination", "Country Jo", "Eeyore", "I've Been Thinking", "Olde October Moon", "Rider On A White Horse", "Too Drive to Drunk", "Country Lullaby", "Honky Tonkin'" and "Din Ho".

To date Gram Rabbit's records have produced more than 30 (from 20 different tracks) licenses in television series, national commercial campaigns, and film. NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, CW, FX, BRAVO, STARZ, and MTV have all used the bands music in hit shows such as CSI, Life, the Real World, Sons of Anarchy, Crash, and Ten Things I Hate About You, just to name a few. International brands Kyocera and Fruit of the Loom have used their music to promote their products in national television campaigns. Motion pictures such as Crazy, Stupid, Love starring Steve Carell and Emma Stone, War Inc. with John Cusack and Interview with Steve Buscemi, have included the cinematic sounds of Gram Rabbit in their films.

Gram Rabbit founders Jesika von Rabbit and Todd Rutherford burst on to the Los Angeles music scene with their first album Music to Start a Cult To. Produced by Ethan Allen, who officially joined the band following the release of that record, the band's current line-up includes new drummer Jason Gilbert. Armed with two new releases for 2012 and with tour plans in the works, Gram Rabbit's stock will surely rise. A destiny once measured in ambition is now one measured in accomplishment.
