Latin Threat Steps Into National Spotlight With New Single "Like Me," Putting Omaha Dead Center On The Hip-hop Map
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Recording artist Latin Threat's (aka Joshua Bates) new single "LIKE ME" has managed to create a sound that puts Omaha at the center of the US Hip-Hop Map following the success of his last single,"CERTIFIED," and his last EP, "Early Morning Long Nights."

The newest release from his record label, Struggle Boy Music Group, this MidWest Latino (#MidWestMexican) brings a fresh flavor to hip-hop since his style is a sprinkling of influences from the East Coast (like Big Pun, Fat Joe, Fabolous), West Coast (like B Real, Kid Frost) and South (Baby Bash, Chingo Bling) that he rolls up into his own style he termed "struggle music." The release, due out Friday August 21, catapults Threat into an arena worthy of notable hip-hop artists with a message for the population; "I'm Here, I'm Staying, So Get To Know Me."

Coming off of recent recognition and support from industry publications like AllHipHop.com, thatsenuff.com, thehypemagazine.com and others, Latin Threat is supercharged about the momentum that his career has picked up. "I couldn't be happier about the growth I have had since signing with my management group (Vital Management) and independent publishing label (Ange Jolie Publishing). They really took the time to help me develop and prepare for this step in my career," says Threat when asked about the road ahead. "I have been preparing for this stage of my life for a long time, over 10 years. I'm tried and road tested. We've toured, we've struggled, and I am well aware of the work ahead. I'm ready to rock it for my city, the nation and everyone who has a dream."

It's evident that Latin Threat has spent a great deal of time "developing" considering the recent launch of his music label Struggle Boy Music Group including the signing of his first artist, J. Longoria, who is also featured on "LIKE ME." He established a strategic partnership with casual lifestyle brand Tru Avenue Clothing Co. who is a primary sponsor within his campaign and for whom he is a spokesperson. Add to all of that a performance schedule that most recently included a pivotal gig at The Grassroots Music Festival in Council Bluffs, IA, where he incinerated a crowd of 15,000 with his infectious energy and vibe, and Threat's growth is nothing short of excellent positioning him for a powerful 2016 which includes release of his upcoming EP "ALL ON ME."

In fact if you are in Omaha, don't miss a chance to see Latin Threat perform his new Single at the Video release party hosted by Struggle Boy Music Group at the Lookout Lounge Friday, August 21, 2015.

With current plans to acquire a booking agent to round off his handpicked team and increase his national performance schedule, Threat continues to take careful steps in his path forward assuring he continues to make strides and build his music empire.

Download or stream the new record "LIKE ME" on iTunes, Spotify or your favorite service. Check out the videos (explicit or radio edit) on YouTube. We are sure to see much more in a number of areas from the #MidWestMexican so make sure you connect with him and don't miss his next move.
