St. Paul, MN. (Top40 Charts/ MUSICFEST EL DORADO) - Taking time out of her busy recording schedule to appear at this year's El Dorado Music Fest, October 3-4, 2008, in El Dorado, Arkansas along side Bluesman Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Shooter Jennings, and others, the Strat-wielding diva Malina Moye will be bringing her soulful, rootsy, rock-esq sound to the South.

After wrapping up her first Australian tour and co-headlining the Gold Coast's Broad Beach Blues Festival, Moye states, "I'm very honored to perform at The El Dorado Music Fest because R&B hasn't been as prevalent there and it gives me an opportunity to share my brand of music, which crosses different genres, with an appreciative audience. I think it's the grooves, the story telling with the color tones of my guitar that's opening up a whole new world for me as an artist."

Earlier this summer, Malina also appeared at the Robert Johnson Blues Festival as the only female singer, lefty guitarist on the roster, sharing the stage with last living blues legends David "Honey Boy" Edwards, Hubert Sumlin, and "Pinetop" Perkins.

"What a humbling experience" Moye explains, "I can only hope I can have a career that expands decades. Some of those guys can almost say a century."
