DETROIT, MI. (Project Producers/ www.kemistryrecords.com) - Nominated for Outstanding Male Artist and Outstanding Song, "I Can't Stop Loving You," Motown's critically-acclaimed R&B Singer/Songwriter KEM is proud to be among the music artists recognized during the 37th Annual NAACP Image Awards which celebrates the outstanding achievements and performance of people of color in the arts. The annual award program is scheduled to air March 3, 2006 on the FOX Network.

"Being nominated for the NAACP Image Award will not only be remembered as one of the greatest highlights of my career but one of the greatest moments in my life," said KEM. "I am both grateful and humbled by God's continued blessing on my life."

KEM's nomination announcement preludes a busy New Year as he sets off for the Air Jamaica Jazz Music Festival (January 27-29); participates in the Super Bowl XL Winterblast (February 2-5); and headlines the national 30-city INTO YOU TOUR: UP CLOSE & PERSONAL, beginning February 8, through March 26, 2006. KEM will attend the NAACP Image Awards rescheduling the Memphis tour performance at the Orpheum until May in order to do so.

"The Memphis promoter supports the decision to postpone the February 25th concert date," said Toya Hankins, KEM's manager and president of Project Producers, LLC. "We all felt this opportunity was too big for KEM to not be present."

KEM's sophomore CD, KEM Album II, which crossed over and reached #5 on the Pop Albums chart and remains on the R&B Albums chart, certified Gold after only two weeks of release. His hit single from that CD, "I Can't Stop Loving You" was designated Radio & Records' and Billboard's #1 Adult R&B Record of the Year for 2005. He was also named Radio & Records' #2 R&B Artist for 2005. Recently, Motown re-released the CD as a dual disc with a DVD featuring KEM's latest video and second hit single, "Find Your Way," which remains on the Urban AC charts at #6. Nearing Platinum selling status, KEM Album II was self-produced by the multi-talented artist, and is the highly-anticipated follow-up to KEM's 2004 certified gold debut, Kemistry, which delivered the 2004 hit, "Love Calls." The single stayed in the Top 20 of radio airplay for more than a year.

The INTO YOU TOUR will stop in the following cities: New York, NY; Richmond, VA; Baltimore, MD; New Brunswick, NJ; Collingswood, NJ; Washington, DC; Buffalo, NY; Norfolk, VA; Boston, MA; Orlando, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Tallahassee, FL; Tampa, FL; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; Saginaw, MI; Cleveland, OH; Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; Grand Prairie, TX; San Diego, CA; Anaheim, CA; Los Angeles, CA; and Oakland, CA.
