New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Traditional country singer/songwriter Shane Owens is taking country music fans back to the good ol' days with a music video featuring Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Randy Travis in "Country Never Goes Out Of Style," which premieres as an online exclusive on The Boot, with airings on Heartland, AXS-TV and Country Network.

The clip, which previews Owens' debut album 'Where I'm Comin' From,' is also notable due to it's high-profile cameo, the one-and-only Randy Travis, in his first music video appearance since his stroke in 2013. "Shane brings it all...vocal, writing, performance, and passion. He has paid his dues, remained committed to traditional country and brings you a song with a heart and a story. To Shane, I gladly pass the baton..."

The Alabama-raised Owens has been building a reputation in nightclubs across the Southeast for more than a decade. Even after a couple of rough experiences in the industry, the country artist continues to inspire listeners due to his powerful baritone vocals and emotional singing, and attract the attention of Nashville music executives, as well as legendary producer James Stroud, who produced the debut album.

"This new song means so much to me," explains Owens. "It really talks about the way I was raised and the way I live my life today, so it means so much to have Randy join me in the video and talk about my music in that way. It was truly an honor."

ABOUT SHANE OWENS:
As a staunch traditionalist in the country music sphere, Shane Owens has been building a strong following in nightclubs across the Southeast for more than a decade for his powerful singing and emotional live performances. After starting his career by opening shows for dozens of major stars in the mid-2000s, the baritone performer attracted the attention of Nashville music executives. But things took a hard break, when back-to-back signings fell through due to record label foldings. Owens had to pick himself up and move on, with a little help from producer James Stroud (Chris Young, Clint Black, etc.), who took him under his wing. These tales now form the basis of his debut CD from Amerimonte Records, along with several newly recorded tunes with the also esteemed Ed Seay (Martina McBride, Collin Raye, etc.).The result is a pluperfect portrait of a proud country traditionalist. with the release of his upcoming debut album and new single "Country Never Goes Out Of Style."
