Watch Travis Scott's New Short Film 'Birds In The Trap'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Travis Scott released a short film, Birds in the Trap just before midnight on Monday. Directed by Fleur Fortune, it's a visual component to the rapper's 2016 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. The cinematic 12-and-a-half-minute clip was shot in Detroit and stars Travis as himself as he reflects on life and death.

In the opening scene, the Houston rapper nearly gets into a fight at a club. After avoiding the melee, he gets in his car with his girl, who scolds him for his belligerent behavior. But he brushes her off and she demands that he let her out of the car.
As "Sweet Sweet" plays, he rides around the city, picking up a friend and some food, but his reckless driving ends in a fatal collision. He is rushed to the hospital, but it appears that both he and the female driver of the other car were killed.
"Remember me, the one who died here. It's time to live," he says.

The video then flashes to symbolic imagery of a masked Travis, who jumps off a building. With "The Ends" serving as the soundtrack, he sees the naked woman who was killed in the crash and others whose lives he affected.

Prior to the video's release, La Flame celebrated the album milestone. "With close to a billion album streams and a top ten most streaming album of all-time with Apple, we feedin' the streets again TONIGHT!" he wrote. He is currently on his "Birds Eye View Tour," which kicked off March 10 in New Orleans. The global trek is slated to run through July 9, with stops at festivals including Coachella, Soundset, Bonnaroo, and Wireless.
