Directed by The Walking Dead and Battlestar Galactica composer, Bear McCreary, the music video originally launched on the popular gaming site IGN. The director's cut celebrates 16-bit retro graphics and 80s cinema in an adrenaline-pumping rendition of the famous Queen standard.
"Don't Stop Me Now" is the band's second music video with Bear McCreary at the director's helm. The exciting cinematic project is just a taste of what's to come for this powerhouse band, marking the first in a collection of videos that will be released throughout the year.
"I spend so much time in my studio composing music, sometimes I think I'm going to go crazy," said Bear McCreary. "I am grateful that YBH lets me momentarily step out of that world and direct their videos. With "Don't Stop Me Now," Brendan and I got to combine two of the things we love most in the world: 16-Bit Gaming and the music of Queen. We wanted to tell a simple story: one that introduces a younger generation to the games of our own youth, games they've likely never played or even seen. I'm so proud of the end result. I think it will resonate with my generation and hopefully entertain others."
