SANTA CRUZ, CA. (Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk/ www.beachboardwalk.com) - "Get Ready" to be on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk to hear the Classic Rock All Stars play the classic hits of the late '60s and '70s on Friday, July 1!

The All Stars, who represent some of the top bands from two decades, are sure to bring back great rock memories in the Pepsi Presents: Free Friday Night Bands-on-the-Beach concert series.
The group includes four rockers with top musical credentials:
- Peter Rivera, lead singer, drummer, and founder of Rare Earth ("Get Ready").
- Jerry Corbetta, lead singer, keyboardist, founder and leader of Sugarloaf ("Green-Eyed Lady").
- Mike Pinera, original singer and guitarist for Blue Image, ("Ride Captain Ride") who also wrote, recorded and toured with Iron Butterfly ("In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida").
- Dennis Noda, former leader and musical director of Cannibal and the Headhunters ("Land of 1,000 Dances").

"This group has come together to perform the greatest hits from all these bands, so it's actually several groups in one," said Boardwalk Promotions Director Paul B. Hammond.
The Classic Rock All Stars will perform two, free, 45-minute shows at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on the bandstand.
Both shows feature American Sign Language Interpreter Mo Moscowitz, and special seating with unobstructed views of the stage for the deaf and hard of hearing is available, and for the mobility impaired is also available.

The Boardwalk's concert series continues on Friday nights through September 2. Upcoming free shows include Colin Hay, formerly of Men at Work, and Rose Royce. For the complete schedule, visit our web site at https://www.beachboardwalk.com.
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is California's only seaside amusement park offering both modern thrill rides and historic attractions. Located at 400 Beach Street in Santa Cruz, the park features rides, games, restaurants, and free Friday night concerts.
