David Bowie, the project seeks to unite people over a new artistic medium - the mixfilm. Equal parts film, DJ performance and mixtape, the new medium blurs the lines between established forms into a new, unified experience.
In 2009, Sleeper became the first DJ to draw over 1,000,000 YouTube views to a video of his crowd-pleasing DJ style, mixing 18 songs in 10 minutes. In 2011, after appearing on MTV, ESPN and URB, Sleeper was asked to represent the art of DJing at the prestigious TED conference. At TED, Sleeper presented the still nascent technology of video DJing. Only Love revisits Sleeper's unique style of genre-bending, old-school turntablism and cutting-edge technology, this time elevating the experience by seamlessly incorporating film.
About the mixfilm, Sleeper says, "I've always tried to create things that are timeless. When people think about DJing, they think about crazy parties and festivals. With this project, I wanted to make an impact that would last beyond 1 night. Musically, it's a blend of genres, but visually, it's a blend of people, because we're all in this together. I hope it gives you a moment to reflect and be grateful, regardless of what's going on around us."

Only Love is a collaboration between top-rated DJ e-tailer, The DJ Hookup, and award winning DJ, Sleeper. Only Love gives birth to a new genre, the mixfilm, which combines film, DJ performance and mixtape to take the viewer on a new kind of journey. It's the follow up to Sleeper's 2009 viral hit, which made him the first DJ to get over 1,000,000 view on YouTube.
Only Love was born out of the losses of history-defining musicians,
David Bowie,
Prince and Phife Dawg. It's a response to the divisive political climate of 2016 with something beautiful intended to bring people together.
Sleeper is one of the modern pioneers of multimedia DJing. He was the first DJ to get over 1,000,000 views on YouTube in 2009 and the first VJ to grace the TED conference stage.
His music has been featured on ESPN, MTV, URB Magazine and has topped Hype Machine. He's toured the world performing alongside Ludacris, Common, Mix Master Mike,
