Top French Guitarist And Vocalist Cynthia Gillet Signs With Multi-platinum Producer Brian Reeves
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts / Cynthia Gillet Official Website) Cynthia Gillet, known as the master of modern French rock, has signed with Brian Reeves, President of the Los Angeles-based Jungle Room Recording Studio.

Reeves will produce live performances and studio album recordings with Gillet in 2013, including a series of Hollywood shows, which will give her exposure to music industry figures and a vast rock fan base.

"When I met Brian, he said, 'Okay. What are you supposed to play for me?" Gillet recalls. "He gave me a microphone and a guitar. I played and sang for him. He said: 'Great. You have something very different we can use for the U.S. market - your accent, skills, the way you move and the way you play.'"

Known for her performances at top venues throughout Europe, Gillet has accompanied international music stars Matthieu Chedid and Natalie Janz. Gillet has collaborated with Janz' band members Chris Spedding, Andy Newmark and Guy Pratt, who have played sessions for Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Elton John, Madonna, Sting, the Sex Pistols and Pink Floyd.

Gillet has also performed with Ziggy Marley band members Wilburn Anthony "Squidly" Cole and Lamar "Riff Raff" Brown.

In 2004, Gillet recorded "Anesthesie," a Sony BMG studio album with Paris-based composers William Rousseau and Rodrigue Janois. The trio were known as V.O and created an innovative rock-rap blend.

With more than 30 years of music industry experience, Reeves has worked with legends such as Quincy Jones, Elton John, U2 and Billy Idol. He's also credited in the music and sound department on major motion pictures such as Scarface, Top Gun, Empire Records and Tangled.

While in Los Angeles, Gillet will also record a duet album with singer-songwriter Rocky Hensel.
