Aaron Tippin To Headline America's 911 Foundation's 11th Annual 'Never Forget' Motorcycle Ride
Washington D.C., DC (Top40 Charts/ RMR & Associates) America's 911 Foundation announces that country singer Aaron Tippin will be performing during its 11th annual commemorative 'Never Forget' Motorcycle Ride, taking place August 18-21, 2011. Best known for his numerous hits including, "Stars and Strips," "There Ain't Nothin Wrong with the Radio," "That's as Close as I'll get to Loving You" and "Kiss This," the platinum selling artist will be performing in front of the Double Tree Hotel in Arlington, Virginia on Friday, August 19th on Army Navy Drive from 8:00 PM- 9:30 PM to help raise money for Active First Responders in EMS, Fire, and Police Departments across the county and their families.

Founded in October 2001, in response to the tragedy of September 11, 2001, the Foundation leads philanthropic initiatives including the annual motorcycle ride to promote continued support for families of those who protect and serve the larger public by answering the 911 call. Over the past six years, the event has awarded more than $180,000 in scholarships to more than 75 children, and has donated over $500,000 in new equipment and contributions.

"We are thrilled to have Aaron's participation in this year's event," says Ted Sjurseth, Founder of America's 911 Foundation. "His passion for music is equally as impressive as his commitment to social causes such as ours. We are very fortunate to have his talent available for a great cause."

With more than 2,400 participants already registered for the event, the ride will make stops at all three of the 9/11 crash sites. To kick off the ride in Somerset, Pennsylvania Senator, Richard Kasunic, will be speaking at Highland Harley Davidson along with a free concert from Donnie Iris. The ride will be departing from the main starting location in Somerset, PA, on Friday August 19th. On Sunday morning, the Foundation and ride participants will travel down to Ground Zero for their annual memorial ceremony.
