European Superstar Bleona Continues Her Conquest Of America With Latest Single "Take It Like A Man"
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ SalernoPartners) Bleona, one of Europe's hottest music acts, has unleashed a new mix of her mega-hit, "Take It Like a Man".

When I wrote 'Take it Like a Man,' I wanted it to have a strong message," Bleona says. I see "Take It Like a Man," as an anthem to that independent thinking.

The song which was written by Bleona premiered at the 30th Annual Las Vegas PRIDE Festival in 2013. Earlier this year, she performed "Take It Like a Man" at Jeffrey Sanker's world famous White Party in Palm Springs, California with over 30,000 people in attendance from around the world to rave reviews. Since then, it has become one of the most requested songs at her concerts.

Produced by StopWaitGo, "Take It Like a Man" follows her critically acclaimed singles, "Without You" and "Pass Out" (featuring Timbaland & Brasco). "Take It Like a Man," zoomed to a Top Ten position on the UK charts when it was released in September, 2013. Several major record labels are currently bidding for the rights to release her first American album, which will include "Take It Like a Man."

Although relatively new to American audiences, the pop diva has been a superstar in Europe, especially Eastern Europe, UK, and her native country of Albania for over a decade, with each of her albums selling millions of copies in Europe alone. Her live concerts regularly draw over 50,000 excited fans to every performance. Bleona has always been a strongly independent woman, who insists on living life on her terms, no matter what others think.

While Bleona gleefully uses her music to poke fun at herself and her diva image and lifestyle, she says her songs are her way of encouraging women to take on the attitude of, "This is who I am. Either embrace it, or leave." Her lyrics for "Take It Like a Man" reflect that attitude, proudly proclaiming, "I got my own set of rules, you get used to my attitude."

"When I wrote 'Take it Like a Man,' I wanted it to have a strong message," Bleona says. I see "Take It Like a Man," as an anthem to that independent thinking. "My songs have always been rebellious! They're a driving force for women to be independent. I am a diva - I happily admit it - because I'm strong and I don't need anyone to pay my bills or take care of me. I think every woman has the right to follow their dreams and my songs have a real message of girl power," says Bleona.

The international artist, whose full name is Bleona Qereti, began her career at the age of five when she was cast in "The House of Pionieri," which was the Albanian equivalent of America's "The Mickey Mouse Club." By the time she was in her early teens, she was already performing sold out multi-city tours and was Albania's highest profile artist.

But she had her sights set on a much larger audience and began doing extensive concert tours in Eastern Europe. At the age of 15, Bleona released the first in her string of chart busting albums. "Within five years of launching my theatrical and music career, I was performing 80 concerts a year, in between going to school," she says. Her fifth album, "You Weren't Man Enough For Me," sold over 300,000 copies in its first three months, making the bestselling album of all time in Eastern Europe. "Things were building and building and I was becoming increasingly well-known across the world as well as Albania." Following the release of her seventh album, "Mandarin," which sold over 800,000 copies, she set began her plan to cross the Atlantic and conquer the United States.

She made her American debut at Webster Hall in New York, followed by a number of sold out engagements. After performing for Donald Trump at his private club, Mar A Lago, the billionaire became a fan and introduced Bleona to veteran record producer David Foster, best known for his work with Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. She met superstar producer Timbaland at the Grammys, which led to their collaboration on three new songs, including the hit single "Pass Out."

"Critics thought I was a completely rebellious entertainer and started calling me the 'Madonna of Albania', because I always did what I wanted to," she says. "Music is my life. I just want people to give me a chance. And if they don't give me a chance, I'm going to take it anyway!" The comparison to Madonna is well earned as the iconic American performer is one of Bleona's role models. Although Madonna's influence can be seen and felt in her concerts with her elaborate and sexy costumes and stage filling choreography, Bleona has a style of her own that earns her thunderous standing ovations whenever she performs. Her recent nine-country European tour drew between 50,000 -70,000 pumped up fans for each performance.

Meanwhile, in her quest to make it in America, the Albanian beauty, who is fluent in Italian, German, English, and, of course her native language, recently made her American television debut on Steven Segal's action series "True Justice," broadcast on the American cable network ReelzChannel. She considers the United States to be her home now and has become a citizen. "I absolutely love, love, love America. There's nothing impossible."

For Bleona, music is just the start when it comes to her vision of being a world class total entertainer. Already an A-list Multi Lingual International recording artist and overall a Role-model in magazine covers in Europe, she's honing her acting chops by working with one of Hollywood's most prestigious acting coaches and is in talks to co-star in several upcoming feature films. She recently wrapped production on a reality show about her life in America that will air later this year on a major cable network. Fans in Europe, Australia and her native Albania will be able to see her on tour later this year, performing with Sebastian Ingrosso, Eric Prydz and Aleso.
