Hezekiah Jones Releases 'In Memory Of Oosi Lockjaw'

Hezekiah Jones Releases 'In Memory Of Oosi Lockjaw'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Philadelphia indie folk band, Hezekiah Jones, tells an intimate story on his upcoming album, In Loving Memory of oosi Lockjaw, due out November 14th on Woodfarm. As if front man, Raph Cutrufello, is singing directly to the listener as they sit in front of a warm fire with bourbons in hand, the album emotes an intimate intellectualism filled with graceful melodies and harmonies

Throughout In Loving Memory of oosi Lockjaw, a combination of soft vocals and gentle guitar riffs leads a family of strings and percussion in search of freedom while integrating fictitious ideas into the world of music. Every melodic interaction, subtle and explicit, underscores Oosi's theme of a gentle, loving exorcism, a letting go of these demons that haunt our subconscious.

The second single off the album, "Borrowed Heart" unfolds into an interlude of ghostly vibrato as Cutrufello and Kiley Ryan's dancing melodies gently explore the story between the Bride of Frankenstein and the Monster. The combination of their voices is easy to fall in love with because of carefully crafted chord progressions, exemplifying Cutrufello's usual wit and tenacity for creating moments that feel special.
