New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Krewella - the trailblazing electronic duo of sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf - has released their new single "Mana," a frenetic anthem about power, spirituality, and the duality of feminine and masculine, that perfectly encapsulates Krewella's creative experimentation and globally-inspired sound. "Mana" premiered live on YouTube earlier today as a technicolor lyric video jam-packed with symbolic spiritual and mythological iconography. "Mana is an ode to the multi-dimensional, universal human," says Krewella. "It encompasses the spectrum of feminine and masculine; the spiritual and material; the creator and destroyer; the king and queen. We channeled the essence of this limitless being when writing the song, unrestricted by rules of arrangement or conformity of genre."

"From the tribal tablas to the eerie vocal runs, folding in our Pakistani roots has been essential in our music-making process for many years now," the duo continues. "The infusion of all these aspects is the future of Krewella that we are so honored to bring to the world."

As one of the few independent, woman-fronted, Pakistani-American artists in dance music, Krewella stands as one of the most successful electronic acts of this decade. Krewella first paved the way for women in electronic music with their 2013 breakout singles "Alive" and "Live For The Night," both of which cracked the Billboard Hot 100. They were also named among Forbes' 30 Under 30 Music Class of 2016, cementing their role as outspoken opponents of sexism in the music industry.

Dubbed "the dark princesses of bass" by Vice, Krewella has run the festival circuit with performances at several notable stages, such as Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival and Lollapalooza, all while selling out headlining tours around the world.

"Mana" is the first taste of a new chapter for Krewella following a series of singles in 2018. The duo will have more exciting news to share soon - stay tuned.
