SOULSAVERS sublime third album - 'BROKEN' - was released to much critical acclaim in late August...

'The symbiotic union of Mark Lanegan and the UK production duo Soulsavers is fast becoming one of the most creatively fertile partnerships of the decade... pure gold.'
The Times - 5 Stars

'Their imposing third album substantially increases the scale of their heavily orchestrated, Ennio Morricone-influenced rock and soul... This is gloom worth wallowing in'
The Observer - CD Of The Week

'epic, wide-screen, evocative... Mark Lanegan is in sonorous, imperious voice'
MOJO - 4 Stars

'Mark Lanegan reprises his role as a latter day Johnny Cash, while fellow alt-rock alumni Jason Pierce, Mike Patton and Richard Hawley make fleeting cameos. The result could be the soundtrack to the greatest spaghetti western never made.'
Q - 4 Stars

'a tumultuous amalgamation of zoned-out jazz lines, wistful soul vocals, moody strings, dreamlike electronic sequences and compact rock... A veritable Dante's INFERNO of an album'
NME - 8/10

'Mark Lanegan distinguishes Machin and Glover's concept project for a second time... Nobody does the dark stuff better.'
The Independent - 4 Stars

'Fabulously moody'
OMM - 4 Stars

'Heartfelt and profound... A classy album of gospel-infused, effects-laden rock that is, by turns, brooding and uplifting'
The Sun - 4 Stars

'This third album presents the velvety richness of Mark Lanegan's vocal in superbly atmospheric settings with rumbling firepower and deep longing never far off'
The Mirror - 4 Stars

'Their most panoramic record yet... Soulsavers deliver a follow up that expands on what worked well last time around, richer in content and bolder in intent...'
Clash - 8/10

'Superb.'
The Fly - 4 Stars

'Lanegan's petrol-gargle Johnny Cashery rides buffed-to-a-sheen guitars, juggernaut bass and massed-voice choruses all the way to rock Valhalla'
WORD

'Lanegan's presence lends these songs a wonderfully mournful tone, like a modern day Johnny Cash. He adapts seamlessly to the ever-varying styles, from Portishead-style electronica to soul and gritty rock.'
Rock Sound - 7/10

'Soulsavers have ambition in abundance... The soundscapes are vast, the production is lush, and the vocals on each track are impeccable'
KRUGER

Featuring guest vocal contributions from the likes of MARK LANEGAN, JASON PIERCE, MIKE PATTON and RICHARD HAWLEY, 'Broken' delivers thirteen tracks of wide-ranging majesty, merging soul, gospel, rock and country into a stunningly cinematic whole... MARK LANEGAN fully consolidates his position within the Soulsavers project, delivering some of his finest vocal performances to date over the course of ten tracks, though numerous other leftfield luminaries also come along for the ride... Spritualized's JASON PIERCE duets with Lanegan on 'Pharaoh's Chariot', MIKE PATTON appears on 'Unbalanced Pieces', RICHARD HAWLEY adds backing vocals to 'Shadows Fall', while GIBBY HAYNES of BUTTHOLE SURFERS infamy appears alongside Lanegan on 'Death Bells'...
