Steve Conway : My Foolish Heart

Steve Conway had a relatively short life and brief recording career. Very popular in the immediate post war years but passed away in 1952. He demonstrated the abilty to sing well without a "mid Atlantic" accent. This song brings back memories for me as it was my mother's favourite recording. As a child, I remember it was often requested on radio programmes. There are many recordings of this tune, which has become a "jazz standard." Probably the most popular is the one by a jazz pianist, the late Bill Evans. The copyright to this recording owned by Orchard Music is acknowledged.
