Little Jimmy Osmond - Long Haired Lover from Liverpool ((STEREO)) 1972

Jimmy was the younger sibling of Donny and Marie Osmond. Though it reached only #36 on the Hot 100, it was yet another tune that was a much bigger hit on local radio station surveys. Here in the northern panhandle of West Virginia, the song was HUGE! To this day, copies of this 45 are extremely common here and every record shop, antique store, and thrift store is sure to have at least one or two copies. The MONO MIX of this single was available as a promo-only copy distributed to radio stations for broadcast. All commercial copies sold to the public were of this STEREO MIX. Debuted 4/72 #36 Hot 100 This is the original HIT STEREO MIX released on MGM K14376 when this was a HUGE hit on AM Top 40 radio stations in the spring and summer of '72.
