“Mr. Chow†from the debut album Red Dust And Spanish Lace released in 1987 by Acoustic Alchemy. The album was a breakthrough in the U.S. after the band try a couple of records in the UK with considerable loss. The late Nick Webb (steel string guitar) and his partner Greg Carmichael (nylon strings) worked and performed as an in-flight band on Virgin Atlantic flights to go to the States for free. Sending their demo music to Nashville-based label MCA, the band was called to record their first album. Acoustic Alchemy introduces a sweet contemporary jazz or Smooth Jazz as commonly known. The song "Mr. Chow" was described as a "Chinese jazz reggae" to some.
