The Sidewinder Lee Morgan The Best of DoDEA High Schools - The Far East Honors Jazz Band. Student Musical Talents in the Pacific from Japan, South Korea, and Guam. Participating School include Guam High School, Kadena High School, Kubasaki High School, Nile C. Kinnick High School, Yokota High School, and Zama High School. Names and were taken from the newspaper articles from the Stars and Strips and 18th Services website. Special Thanks to the Coordinators that made this event happen -- Tim Black, Kadena High School Choir Director, DeEtte Hanssen Choir Director, EJ King High School, Jan Nelson Kinnick High Choir Teacher, and Jonathan Parker Yokosuka Band Teacher. The event was to bolster the ambitions and dreams of the young Musicians - and it did so in that the Musicians go to work with and coordinate their music with the real Military Bands of the Pacific.
