Biography

STAYSMAN & Lazzar started in 2009, and held concerts for anyone who managed to cough up the price: two crates of lager and a bottle of Bacardi Razz. Despite some criticism for the use of naked girls with silicone and Restylane on the scene, they held 90 concerts that year.
In 2010 convinced them a jury of Sony boss Lena Midttveit, Ole Evenrud, Sandra Lyng Haugen and then See & Hear chief Harald Haave that Staysman & Lazz was Norway's new summer stars. That two grown men in well over 20 years should outperform over 400 others who sang better (and so far better) than the two, impressed not only the jury, but also a whole generation teenagers. After the victory they published scourge "UTEN SKO", which has now sold platinum.

Spring 2012 something happened that was to be their breakthrough: Staysman won 100,000 dollars in TV3's Paradise Hotel - for the first time he had not minus the account. They decided to really focus on the music seriously, now that one half had a face people knew. Some months later they warmed up 10,000 people in Halden Roxette. They started own label (SLP) and released the single "FRØKEN MOËT", which is now approaching 3 x platinum. In 2013 they released the single "KAPTEIN MORGAN", as in record streamed to platinum.

Since its inception in 2009, they have contributed in nearly 1000 events, and must be seen as perhaps the most frivolous serious artists in Norway. You can find them on iTunes, Spotify and Facebook. The only lists them has managed to stay away, lists in the police criminal record.
Incidentally: They no longer plays for two cans of lager and a bottle of Bacardi Razz...
