Biography

ailing from Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, this 4-piece pop-punk shitstorm grabs your attention fast and doesn’t let go. Originally a side project, the band quickly gained a following by playing countless shows in their native city and surrounding provinces. By 2005 the band had put out a Spanish EP, “Juego de Ninos”; an English full length, “Fuck Your Etiquette”; added a second guitarist (childhood friend MenosGrande), and soon began the emigration process to the United States one at a time in order to pursue the band full time in a place where touring was actually possible…
Unfortunately, Pericles disbanded in early 2011. They completed tours in the U.S, Costa Rica, and Brazil and shared the stage with awesome bands like Strung Out and VGS. Currently, the guitar player Paul is working on starting a new band.
We are darn proud to have their last album, “Citizen World,” on our roster. Even though Pericles is no longer playing shows, their last release is a stellar document of D.I.Y. ideas and perseverance.
