Biography

Stephen Fasano, better known by his stage name The Magician, is a house DJ and producer from Brussels, Belgium. He is best known for his 2014 single "Sunlight", which peaked at number 7 in both Belgium and the United Kingdom as well as his famous remixes for Lykke Li "I Follow Rivers" and Clean Bandit "Rather Be". His monthly mix tapes called "Magic Tape" provide listeners with the newest and hottest dance music from an array of genres. He is known for doing magic tricks while performing.
He was a member of music duo Aeroplane with Vito de Luca since 2007. In 2010, Fasano announced that he was leaving the duo to start his own solo project. de Luca continues to use the name Aeroplane.
In 2011 he released his debut EP Twist on the hip French label Kitsuné in collaboration with Yuksek as Peter and The Magician. In October 2011 he released his debut single "I Don't Know What To Do" feat. Jeppe Laursen on Kitsuné. In 2012 he released the single "Memory" again with Yuksek as Peter and The Magician on Kitsuné. In September 2013 he released the single "When The Night Is Over", he also released the single "On My Brain" in 2013 on Party Fine Music.
In July 2014 he released the single "Sunlight" featuring vocals from Years And Years, the song has peaked to number 7 in Belgium. The song was released in the United Kingdom on 28 September 2014. The Magician performed Sunlight along with Years & Years at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow, Scotland as part of the Digital Show which was held at the O2 Academy Glasgow.

Years & Years are a London based trio signed to Polydor Records. Current members are frontman and keyboardist Olly Alexander, bassist Mikey Goldsworthy and synth player/beat-maker Emre Turkmen. Founding member Noel Leeman, left the band in 2013.

Years & Years formed in 2010, after Mickey moved from Australia and met Emre. Shortly afterwards, Olly joined the band as lead vocalist after guitarist Mikey heard him singing in the shower. The first gig, as a five piece band, saw the Years & Years crew boarding the Albatross in Wells-Next-the-Sea. The band released their debut single I Wish I Knew in the summer of 2012 through the label Good Bait. Their follow up single in September 2013 was picked up by Kitsuné Records. Dubbed Traps.

The band released Real, their second single for Kitsuné, in February 2014. It was backed with the song Eyes Shut. Two more singles followed; Take Shelter (a part of the EP of the same name released through Polydor Records) and Desire. Their latest single is King, previewed a couple days before the trio was named BBC Sound of 2015's winner.
