Biography
Matt McAndrew (born September 6, 1990) is a young singer songwriter living in Philadelphia. He grew up in the small town of Barnegat Light, NJ, and has been writing songs in bands since he was just a kid. In the spring of 2010 he started writing solo acoustic material and playing at open mic nights, ice cream parlors, and bars. He is eager to play more shows and sing his songs to a bigger audience.
He participated in the seventh season of the American reality talent show The Voice premiered on September 22, 2014 and ended with the season finale on December 16, 2014 on NBC.
Matt McAndrew received the iTunes bonus multiplier with his studio recording of "The Blower's Daughter", reaching the second position on the iTunes Top 200 singles chart at the close of the voting window, respectively.
