Biography

Stevo Théard was born into a musical family with roots in New Orleans. He was raised on classic Soul, Jazz, Rock, and Pop, as well as the great musical traditions of New Orleans. He has worked as drummer and musical director for Amel Larrieux and Terence Trent D'Arby, and has performed with a variety of well known artists, such as: Ed Sheeran, Michael McDonald, James Ingram, Patti Austin, Peabo Bryson, Jeffrey Osborne, Bobby Caldwell, Jon B, Mandy Moore, Branford Marsalis, Patrice Rushen, Chris Botti, Keb Mo', The Delfonics, The Floaters, Blue Magic, GQ, New Edition, Bobby Brown, Sheila E. and the E Family, Gee Mack & The Polyester Players, Dave Koz, Jonathan Butler, Mindi Abair, Peter White, Rick Braun, and Kirk Whalum. He is a credited co-writer on recordings by Terence Trent D'Arby and Mindi Abair, and can be heard singing and playing drums, percussion and keyboards on his original New Orleans influenced solo album: "Gumbo Child". His original music can be heard in TV shows including Sex and the City, Entourage, and The District; and in films including Down in the Delta and Jason's Lyric.

Ginger Murphy is a classically trained cellist from the Chicago area, and a graduate of Northwestern University. Having performed with many symphonic orchestras, including the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, in Los Angeles she records for many film scores and TV shows, including The Voice, American Idol, America's Got Talent, The Young and the Restless, Revenge, and Perception, to name a few. She can be heard playing solo or in a string section on over 100 albums, notably with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dog, Christina Aguilera, George Benson, Macy Gray and Kelly Clarkson. Her string arrangements can be heard on albums by Josh Groban, Ben Moody of Evanescence, and the Dirty Knobs (brainchild of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers veteran Mike Campbell). She was the featured cellist with Josh Groban on his 2011 "Straight to You" tour, and and was also featured on Josh's full length release entitled "All That Echoes". The long list of artists she has worked with includes Stevie Wonder, Usher, P. Diddy, Wu Tang Clan, Common, Mos Def, Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow, Elton John, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Hudson, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Michael Buble, Smokey Robinson, and Placido Domingo.
