Maria Villar

María Villar (Madrid, born October 13, 1991) is the daughter of composer Francisco Villar (he wrote for Ana Belén and Víctor Manuel one of the most well-known songs, La Puerta de Alcalá) and the scriptwriter director Azucena Rodríguez. She is from Madrid and she spent several years in New York, where she studied music and formed an alternative/pop group. María Villar's fame rose after appearing on RTVE's musical reality competition show Operación Triunfo in 2018 (season 10).
